If life becomes a little too annoying
When all you see are people's funny little quirks
When you're out of patience and understanding
Just remember these two words: Prayer Works!

If you forget what it feels like just to laugh
When it seems like all around you danger lurks
Turn your focus from the darkness to His light
And just remember these two words: Prayer Works!

If you haven't found your answers on a talk show
When you're disappointed in your friends at church
Turn off the T.V. and the phone and just be quiet
Then remember these two words: Prayer Works!

Now that prosperity in every form has blessed you
You can live in peace and wear designer shirts
Be a witness to the world about God's goodness
And tell them these two words: Prayer Works!
